Today I was informed that my tía Josie passed away this morning at the age of 69 following a short battle with cancer. She was my dad's eldest sister. It makes me sad the thought of losing a sibling. I called my brother this evening to let him know that I love him. Our time on earth is precious. Cherish the people in your life both family and friends.
May you Rest in Peace tía Josie. I know that you are watching over us from heaven with Grandma, Grandpa, and tía Carmen (who was tragically killed in a car accident in 1967). Give them all a kiss for me. I love you.
